Story Concept
After the explosive events of Fury Road, Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy) and Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) have gone their separate ways, each haunted by the chaos they survived. The world is still broken, ruled by warlords, and chaos reigns across the wasteland. However, whispers begin to spread of a mysterious rising leader who promises to rebuild society from the ground up—“The Reckoner”.
Max, tormented by the violence he has witnessed, reluctantly returns to the fray when the Reckoner’s forces threaten the last stronghold of resistance. He teams up once again with Furiosa, who has her own reasons for confronting this new menace. Together, they must stop a new breed of warlords who are not only conquering lands, but rewriting the laws of survival itself.
In the desert’s unforgiving chaos, new vehicles, ruthless enemies, and unexpected alliances push Max and Furiosa toward a final, violent showdown for the future of the wasteland.
